Terms of Service

1. Our service

Loreline offers hosting solutions, including Foundry VTT hosting and web hosting. Our plans, features and limits may change over time.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18, give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account, including by anyone you invite.

3. Your Foundry license

Loreline is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Foundry Gaming, LLC. You need your own valid Foundry license and must follow its terms.

4. Billing

Plans are monthly subscriptions paid through Stripe. They renew automatically until you cancel, and prices are in US dollars. You can cancel at any time, and your plan ends at the end of the period you have paid for. If our prices change, we will give you notice first.

5. Refunds

If you ask within 7 days of a payment, we will refund it in full. After that, we do not refund part of a billing period unless the law requires it. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank.

6. Promotions

Discounts, vouchers and referral credits have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be changed or ended. We may cancel any that were obtained by misuse.

7. Non-payment

If a payment fails, we may suspend your service. We may delete your data after a period of suspension or cancellation, so please keep your own copy of anything important.

8. Your content

You own what you put on your server. You allow us to store, copy and back it up as needed to run the service, and you promise you have the right to use everything you upload.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not use Loreline for:

• Anything illegal, or content you do not have the rights to use.
• Malware, phishing, scams or impersonation.
• Spam or bulk email.
• Attacking, scanning or trying to get into our systems or other customers' servers.
• Getting around plan limits, or running things unrelated to your game or site, such as cryptocurrency mining.

We may remove content or suspend service that breaks these rules or harms the service or other customers.

10. Backups and availability

We keep backups and work to keep your service running, but we cannot promise it will never go down or that nothing will ever be lost. Loreline is run by a small team, and we do not offer a service level agreement.

11. Third party content

Modules, systems and assets made by other people have their own licenses. We do not review or support them.

12. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Loreline infringes your copyright, email support@loreline.dev with a description of the work and where it appears. We may remove the material and end the accounts of repeat infringers.

13. Ending your account

You can stop using Loreline at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or if the law requires it.

14. No warranties and limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Loreline is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. By continuing to use Loreline after that, you accept the new terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
